There is no getting away from it from time to time it does rain in Devon!

But fear not there is plenty to do and see even when the weather is inclement. A great day out for all ages would be a visit to the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth about 40 mins car ride away www.national-aquarium.co.uk opens daily from 10am -5pm. And maybe supper out at Royal William Yard on your return journey, which is well worth a visit and has lots of restaurants to choose from www.royalwilliamyard.org

Woodlands Leisure Park is another one to bank for a rainy day as it has plenty of indoor space as well as sixty acres  of rides and activities for children (discounts available for booking online)

Our local farm shop, Stokeley has a great cafe, you can easily lose a few hours whilst having coffee and cake, lunch from their wood fired oven or enjoy a clotted cream tea and read the papers whilst the children have a play in the Wendy House, you can gather all of your ingredients locally sourced  and grown for a delicious meal. They now have their own micro brewery too!

See what’s on at our local cinema, less than 5 minutes away.

Snuggle in and have a duvet day,  light the fire and relax!!

And not forgetting our lovely indoor pool to enjoy in all weathers

Lovely stay here, enjoyed the walks, swimming pool great and had a super party in the Folly.
