Set in the glorious South Devon countryside, just two minutes from the historic town of Kingsbridge on the Salcombe estuary and close to stunning beaches, 5 star Gold Award winning West Charleton Grange offers beautiful self catering holiday accommodation in luxury stone cottages.
Our six self-catering cottages are consistently rated 5 Star by Visit Britain in their annual assesments. In addition, each of our cottages has won the Enjoy England Gold Award for the third year running in July 2011. They have been chosen for inclusion in Alastair Sawday's Special Escapes collection and featured in Country Homes & Interiors magazine.
Set in 10 acres, we offer the perfect setting for a holiday in Devon.
For children, there is a secret garden to discover, slide, swings, climbing frames and tower to play on, wooden wendyhouse and boys den, and a shed full of balls and bikes next to the half acre enclosed grass playfield to be enjoyed while parents relax on nearby overlooking terraces.
Our heated indoor swimming pool, short tennis court, basketball net and table tennis are popular year round.
We provide miniature chairs, games, childrens books, travel cots, high chairs, stairgates, baby & child cutlery in each cottage and have many more items available on request.
We are well located as a base to explore the South Hams, with stunning unspoilt beaches nearby, walks on Dartmoor and the South West Coastal path, and interesting towns such as Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes browse, eat and shop.
With so much to discover as well as some fabulous places to eat, our special luxury child and baby friendly self catering cottages make an ideal base for a family holiday, a long relaxing weekend with friends, a short break or a special time away with a partner.
