Landscaped grounds of 10 acres in a private valley with dry stone walls and terracing enhanced with extensive planting.  Sheltered paved terraces with tables & chairs, sun loungers and benches.  Barbecue and seating in Victorian walled garden overlooking river.  Spring fed river with waterfall running into wildlife lake (fenced).  Walled secret garden with fruit trees and shallow stream.  Footpath through grounds to village and on to shores of estuary.  Parking area.

The valley and lake are abundant with wildlife.

We can help you to arrange babysitting by CRB checked, OFSTED registered experienced.

Our bespoke "First 24 Hour Hamper" can be tailored to your child’s preferences or allergies.

Each cottage is equipped with a travel cot and high chair, baby/child cutlery and crockery, miniature chair (excluding Granary), childrens books and games.  All cottages have a stairgate.  Cottages each have a microwave and washer dryer.  All except Granary Cottage have an outside clothes line.

Wooden full size cot with matress, Steriliser, baby gym and much more are now available to hire for your stay from a local supplier who will deliver them to your cottage for your arrival.

Beds have hypoallergenic duvets and pillows and are made up with freshly laundered, white cotton bed linens.  No pets or smoking allowed.

Our cottage folder includes recommendations for days out, child friendly places to eat and details of beach facilities.

For safety reasons, the river and waterfall are fenced and there is no access to the lake.
