West Charleton Grange

About West Charleton Grange

The stone cottages, which sit on the side of the valley overlooking the gardens and wildlife lake, have been beautifully refurbished and equipped with luxury fittings and furnishings, enabling us once again to achieve an ETC 5 star rating for 2008/9.

Recommended in TIMES online 27 July 2006 'Where to Stay' in South Devon. Alistair Sawday's 'Special Places To Stay' May 2006 described West Charleton Grange as "charming", "a tip top conversion", "bliss for families", "furnishings are uncluttered, smart, stylish and new; beds are luxuriously comfy"

Set in the heart of the South Hams, West Charleton Grange is close to beautiful South Devon beaches such as Blackpool Sands, Bantham, Thurlestone, Hope Cove and Slapton Sands.

The walking on nearby Dartmoor or the South West Coastal Path is excellent, or for the less adventurous a gentle stroll along the footpath running through the grounds will take you to the village with its pub and shop and further on to the shore of the Salcombe estuary.

The picturesque town of Salcombe, famous for its sailing, and the historic naval town of Dartmouth are some 6 and 11 miles away respectively. Both have an abundance of restaurants, pubs, galleries and shops.

If you are looking for self catering accommodation in the heart of the South Hams, then West Charleton Grange should be at the top of your list.
